Sheri started working at South Burnaby Vet as our groomer in 2002. Being in the clinic environment and having previously worked as a veterinary assistant, Sheri often found herself jumping in to help whenever we needed it. She soon came to realize how much working in veterinary medicine was her passion. Over the years Sheri has taken several courses and has gained skills in several positions in the hospital, which means she often is required to work in many different areas! Her favourite position is surgical assistance, with a particular interest in dentistry. Sheri thrives in a busy environment, and is great at anticipating the veterinarian’s needs. Her compassion for pets and keen attitude mean that she continues to be a valuable employee.
Sheri has a young family with 2 children and 2 pets which keep her very busy. In her spare time she likes to take advantage of the beautiful outdoors, camping and hiking with her family.
