Animal Health Technician
Kirsten joined our team in the summer of 2007. Her work in both an emergency clinic as well as serving on the Council of the Animal Health Technician Association of B.C. have provided her with amazing experience.
Kirsten’s goal has always been to make a difference in the lives of animals. Having done this on a one on one scale for 10 years, she was looking for a new challenge. She now teaches a new generation of Animal Health Technicians in the program at Douglas College. This allows her to pass along her knowledge and experience and consequently helps to impact the animals that each of her students touch. She didn’t want to leave the South Burnaby family completely and so she continues to work one Saturday a month.
Kirsten is a runner, having completed a full and a half marathon. She is currently starting to train for her first triathlon, hoping to complete a half Ironman in 2012. In her spare time she enjoys Geo-Caching and playing hockey. She shares her home with too many dogs and two cats.
