Dr. Dana Gibson joined our team in September 2007. She has brought with her an immense amount of enthusiasm and knowledge. She practices a very high quality of medicine, and is extremely thorough. She has a very gentle nature with her patients, and cares deeply for their well being. Dr. Gibson’s special interests are critical care, surgery, ophthalmology and ultrasound.
Dr. Gibson started her career as an engineer, and worked for 5 years in Tampa, Florida. She decided that she could not imagine a career that did not involve animals, and changed direction to pursue her goal of becoming a veterinarian. She and her husband moved to Guelph , Ontario, where she began her education at the Ontario Veterinary College. Dr. Gibson graduated in 2006, and moved to Vancouver shortly after, to be near the ocean. She is an avid swimmer, and enjoys many outdoor activities that the West Coast has to offer. Her family includes two beautiful children, and 2 cats, “Otis” and “Milo”.
